    Thanks for a great article. As an advocate for OCD awareness, I would also like to stress the importance of being on the lookout for obsessions and compulsions in children. While OCD is a treatable disorder, the longer it goes untreated, the more difficult it may be to recover. If you are not sure if your child’s behavior is “normal” talk with your pediatrician!

    I fit every item on this list as a child. I think more attention should be called to children’s psychological well-being, pediatricians should ask about these things.
