Great info, it sounds like anger’s response is hard wired into us and there’s not much we can do to control it. Is there any way to overcome this very powerful response that really works ? I know breathing exercises have been recommended but they seem pretty weak against strong neuro transmitters and an amygdala designed to quickly recognize familiar patterns and over rule the prefrontal cortex.

As. Borderline Personality Sufferer, I cant tell you how much anger and rage I’ve experienced in my 56 years of life. To the point I black out, and remember nothing. If this were 100% accurate, I would’ve been brain dead a long time ago. Or, at least by now. Not doubting this, but much more research needs to be done. I’m living proof!
