    I believe “pitying” is a harsh word for those who suffer depression. Yes, it’s good to pray for other’s because the power of prayer is strong. However, if you don’t looking deeply inside yourself, you cannot see the depth of what you’re struggling with. ie: alcoholism, drug abuse, and other types of abuse etc. Once you’ve defined part of your depression, get help. But to say it’s just pitying yourself, is harsh and unkind.
