I love the last sentence here, “Don’t just medicate, heal”

I can’t begin to express to you how proud I am that you were able to share your story. Truly this is a sign of healing for you. I know that it will help many others. As you know, you are not alone! Many victims walk down the destructive path that you write about. I pray for peace and healing for all those who have endured child sexual abuse. Thanks you for being so courageous and for sharing. I do not believe that wellness is possible without facing it head on. May God Bless You and hold you dear … peace and all good things!

So beautifully written and tenderly said. I do so agree that talking with others who have been through the trauma is so healing. A lot of folks who haven’t walked through it say things like, “Why can’t you just get over it?” It’s one of the most damning and damaging things someone can do.
