      Dear Madelyn,
      You are very welcome. I have been lighting candles every day, and thinking of you, Paul, Peggy, and all of Kate’s family and friends at this time. It was a privilege getting know all of you a little throughout this time through Caring Bridge; Kate was and is very blessed to have all of you.

      It’s obvious you’ve been a great friend and support to Kate, and I know how exhausting these rites-of-passage are, so I’m sending prayers for you to get enough rest, and stay strong as the days ahead unfold.
