You don’t often hear the perspective of a young adult and how they deal with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) or attention deficit disorder. Teenagers and young adults often have to grapple with the challenges of the disorder on their own. And others may suggest they’re faking it, or don’t need medications to help with it.
That’s why I’m pleased to introduce the ADHD Millennial blog with Neil Petersen. Neil writes regularly on education, learning disabilities and technology. “In the time following my diagnosis, finding other people online who had faced and were writing about some of the same questions I was struggling with was so helpful in figuring out a way to put my experiences in perspective,” says Neil. You can learn more about him here.
Please give Neil a warm Psych Central welcome!
