I am proud to be adhd because even the so called adhd could not do what I am capable of doing an still succeed.

If they are not comfortable with my confuse state of busyness that is their problem. I have no control over their ability to do only one thing at a time. The reason why I end up doing their work as well is because they spend to much time trying to tell me when and how to do mine. I Will take 10 times as long as them doing one task.

This is where they are left behind. After I have completed ten tasks they have only manage two. So when I leave 5 people need to know what I did.

Its weird when u realise finally all these annoying little personal ‘quirks’ u thought formed part of who u are… are not actually “you” but behavioural manifestation of body chemistry….

When the penny drops and that lightbulb of understanding goes on and everything, all those quirks just fall into place…. mind blowing moments. Relearning and questionning which bits are u vs the adhd. And the feeling of utter stupidity at not having somehow realised this before.

And anger. That over 50yrs not one other person did either. Parents teachers or medical professionals. Like my hypoglycemia. Not once has anybody ever said “why”. Dealt with symptoms never the cause.

Don’t want u to get better (keep patients ill) or simple lack of care factor in general.
