On Friday, December 17, 2012, Newtown, CT was hit with the second deadliest school shooting in US history.

The gunman, 20-year-old Adam Lanza, took his mother’s life before opening fire on Sandy Hook Elementary, ultimately killing 20 small children and six adult women.

Our nation is stunned, racked with grief and outrage and confusion.
