shutterstock_140052109Hello/Greetings/Happy Week-end PsychCentral & Beyond!:) Greetings Man, Woman, Child, Bug, Doggie, Kitty, Birdie, Fishie!:) Hello to Every Breathing Thing crossing my literal or virtual path today and every day!:) (How ya doing?!) WELL i hope…PEACE to You!

Aloha in the Hawaiian language means affection, peace, compassion and mercy. Since the middle of the 19th century, it also has come to be used as an English greeting to say goodbye and hello. Currently, it is mostly used in the sense of “hello.” ~Wikipedia “Aloha”

When my daughters (ages 10 & 8) and i are driving any where, they have the habit of yelling, waving, smiling out the window to ANY ONE we happen to drive by: “ELLO MATE!” (no typo they drop the h.) They started this thing all on their own…it’s a riot the reaction from people…i’m giggling as i write this. We also live not too far from a hospital…and so..we drive by a smoking spot for nurses/hospital workers (oh the irony, etc. of it) anyway, the spot outside the hospital is near a waterway and the smokers congregate/hang out around/under a “danger” warning sign and smoke!-lol Anyway, my kids think this is too funny and yell to them: Read the sign & PLEASE! Stop Smoking…mind You, they noticed this and spoke up on their own…Kids can teach adults lots, eh?!

As parents, as adults, as smokers or non-smokers, as drinkers or non-drinkers, as consumers or over-consumers, etc., etc., etc., what are we teaching kids…by our examples, our choices, our habits, our hellos or our good byes…what are they learning by our love, our lack of love, our practices, our faith, our lack of faith, our music, our silence, our speech, our conduct, our entertainment, our fun, our war or our peace?!

“Hello!” a simple greeting with such deep meaning, eh? Hello Friend, Hello New Friend, Hello Day, Hello New Day, Hello Habit, Hello New Habit, Hello Change, Hello New Change…to what or to whom will You say: “ELLO Mate!”

Please consider the “wellness” wisdom of this ancient verse: (You can choose Peace/Wellness. You can choose to Yield: say HELLO! and bye to vengeance!)

“IF possible, as far as it depends upon you, be peaceable with all men.” “Do not avenge yourselves, beloved, but yield place to the wrath; for it is written: “Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says Yahweh.” (Romans 12:18, 19)

Practice, Pursue and Promote Peace with All-Breathing-Fragile-Life and Feel Free…to Forgive…Feel Free…to say: HELLO! :)
