shutterstock_24237208Hi!:) How are You, my Reader?? Ca Va? How was Your February? How is Your personal journey/race of compassion going? THANKS for living compassion!:)

My February ended on a Super-Nice note! i hope Yours did as well!:) (Not sure IF you’ve read my previous post referring to my Brother?) i’m loving skype right now -lol:) You guessed it…got to skype with Him and his Wife! It’s been way tooo long since an opportunity for us to communicate came along…circumstances.  (i’m tough to reach…so is he.) i have this really goofy smile stuck on my face and hopefully: it won’t go away!-lol:) A comforting word at just the right time is oh how good!!…good for the weary warriors of compassion. Don’t tire out in your personal race/battle….for compassionate living!:) Hoping You hear some comforting words!:)

It’s always a great wake-up to reality to hear of his compassion adventures in Haiti. The life there and life here…what contrasts. We have so much materially/opportunities here in the States…many in our International Family of Beautiful-Breathing-Fragile-Life will never experience what some view as entitlements of luxuries. Some of our Local & International Family of Beautiful-Breathing-Fragile-Life will struggle their whole existence just to subsist on little food, little comfort, little help, little love. Little is better than nothing, eh?

What can i give You today? What can i share…a little food, a little comfort, a little help, a little love?:) What comfort can You bring to those in Your care?! What comfort can You share/bring to anyone/anything crossing Your path today? You have a gift, Please share it!:)

In Reading there is sort of a half and half mixture. The book must be good, but the reader must also be active.”~Ralph Waldo Emerson

A new month, new work, new goals, new learning…new friends? Here’s some “new” ? thoughts for You to think:

3 Proverbs & Act on?

(Proverbs 29:11)All his spirit is what a stupid one lets out, but he that is wise keeps it calm to the last.”

Are You calm? Do You exercise self-restraint? Are You easily provoked? Learning to exercise self-control can lead to more compassionate choices and behaviors!:) Don’t damage Yourself or Anyone/Thing else…Cultivate self-restraint!:)..i’m always working on this one…staying calm when disaster/chaos strikes unexpectedly! Living with a Family Member who is chronically ill and caring for 4 Young Ones…gives one plenty of practice and/or opportunities to exercise self-restraint…not easy. That’s the key to not letting your circumstances control you…you cannot always restrain the circumstance/chaos…You can restrain yourself. (i refuse to be bullied/defeated by circumstance.)

Are YOU in Control? Do You take control? Are You controlling? i balk at control–i’ve been learning self-control/self-discipline for almost 44 years now and counting…i don’t like attempts by others to control me! i appreciate guidance/counsel, help, encouragement, instruction, etc..i refuse to be controlled in particular by: lies no matter how seemingly persuasive. In general, there are so many lies circulating in society, media, religion, science, etc…sadly, some breathe, eat, digest, believe, live and die lies…because they have not trained their power of reason and perception. Use discernment and don’t be deceived! Don’t blindly believe–Investigate. Gather Evidence.

Wellness runs deep. Involving thinking, attitude, speaking, living, doing, eating, exercising…i.e. your power of reason/mind/choice, free-will, etc. The information we choose to believe (or not) affects our wellness: positively or negatively! SORRY, having trouble now exercising self-restraint…here i go again: An Anti-Fake-Religion-Rant (aka opposition to beliefs based on lies or no evidence).

PLEASE, check it out: may be, it will give you a new-fresh perspective on life, hopefully!:) Something “thought-provoking” & “fresh” i read on the topic/saga evolution vs. creation:

Understanding our origin is vital to understanding who we are, where we are going, and how we should live. Evolutionists generally claim that a population of animals gradually developed into a population of humans, denying that there was once only one man. However, the Bible presents a very different picture. It says that we originate from one man, Adam. The Bible account presents Adam as a historical person. It gives us the names of his wife and some of his children. It tells us in detail what he did, what he said, when he lived, and when he died. A perfect man would live forever in perfect health, according to the Bible. It is evident from what God said to Adam that if the first man had not disobeyed God, he would never have died. ” ~Is Evolution Compatible with the Bible?

“Although evolution is usually presented in scientific language, it is really a religious doctrine. It teaches a philosophy of life and an attitude toward God. Its beliefs are subtly attractive to mankind’s selfish, independent tendencies. Many who believe in evolution say that they also believe in God. However, they feel free to think of God as one who has not created things, does not intervene in man’s affairs, and will not judge people. It is a creed that tickles people’s ears.”

“Teachers of evolution are often motivated, not by the facts, but by “their own desires”—perhaps a desire to be accepted by a scientific community in which evolution is orthodox doctrine. Professor of biochemistry Michael Behe, who has spent most of his life studying the complex internal functions of living cells, explained that those who teach the evolution of cell structure have no basis for their claims. Could evolution occur at this tiny, molecular level? “Molecular evolution is not based on scientific authority,” he wrote. “There is no publication in the scientific literature—in prestigious journals, specialty journals, or books—that describes how molecular evolution of any real, complex, biochemical system either did occur or even might have occurred. . . . The assertion of Darwinian molecular evolution is merely bluster.”

“If evolutionists lack explanations, why do they preach their ideas so loudly? Behe explains: “Many people, including many important and well-respected scientists, just don’t want there to be anything beyond nature.”

“The idea that God directed evolution in order to produce man is also incompatible with what the Bible says about God’s personality. If God guided the process of evolution, it would mean that he guided mankind into its present diseased and distressed state. However, the Bible says of God: “The Rock, perfect is his activity, for all his ways are justice. A God of faithfulness, with whom there is no injustice; righteous and upright is he. They have acted ruinously on their own part; they are not his children, the defect is their own.” (Deuteronomy 32:4, 5) Therefore, mankind’s present suffering is not the result of God-directed evolution. It is the result of one man’s losing perfection for himself and his offspring by rebelling against God.”

The Bible stresses the importance of evidence when it defines faith. It says: “Faith is the assured expectation of things hoped for, the evident demonstration of realities though not beheld.” (Hebrews 11:1) True faith in God should be based on evidence that demonstrates the reality of the Creator. “~Is Evolution Compatible with the Bible?

*i agree that whatever one chooses to believe or put faith in: scientific or spiritual or otherwise…should be based on EVIDENCE!:)

Back to topic: Control. Here’s 2nd Proverb:

(Proverbs 16:32) “He that is slow to anger is better than a mighty man, and he that is controlling his spirit than the one capturing a city.”

i was reading something that explained this Proverb’s meaning: “Know that Self-restraint comes, not from controlling others, but from controlling yourself.”

An observation: those who seem out of control/struggling to control themselves or exercise self-restraint…attempt to control others..or be super-controlling of those around them…have You noticed that?! Control-freaks should try controlling themselves, eh?

Practical Proverb #3:

(Proverbs17:14) “The beginning of contention is as one letting out waters; so before the quarrel has burst forth, take your leave.” In other words, before the fight breaks out and somebody gets injured or killed…walk away…LIVE to SEE ANOTHER DAY!:)…

That’s my cue: ADIEU! :)
