Prince sang: “I would die 4 U” and the Gingerbread man (yes, Gingerbread man:) sang: “Run, run, run as fast as you can. You’ll never catch me I’m the Gingerbread man. He trusted the fox to help his plan and that was the end of the Gingerbread man.“~by Shauna Tominey (www.storytimesongs.com)

“Let me help you. I’m your friend. I can take you away from all this. Hop on my tail and I’ll take you across the river.” So the Gingerbread man jumped onto the fox’s tail. A while later, the fox said-“Jump onto my back. I’m sinking, you don’t want to get wet.”  So the Gingerbread man jumped onto the fox’s back. A while later, the fox said, ‘Jump onto my head. I’m sinking, you don’t want to get wet.’ So the Gingerbread man jumped onto the fox’s head. Finally, the fox flicked the Gingerbread man up in the air, opened his mouth and gobbled him up with his sharp, sharp teeth. When he was done he laughed and licked his lips. Gingerbread, gingerbread that’s stuff for me. Gingerbread, gingerbread I’ve had some for my tea.” ~The Story Museum “Gingerbread Man”

i “would” die “for” You! (if You want me to) Would you die for me, too?! (Think about it! I’ll get back to that in a few…a few words or so. Besides, your answer “would” depend on your view of death…oh and life, too and your view of me and you, (relationships in general)…and whether or not you eat (or are tempted by) gingerbread-lol:)

Do you run away from problems/challenges or face them/endure them /resolve them? Who do You trust as “friend”? Who do you trust for guidance/help? (It’s a lonely life with no one to trust.)

Would your “friend” die for You or gobble You up when sinking?!

Yeah, you may be “thinking” who is this chick and WHY is she asking such (life/death) question(s)??? Where is this post headed?? Read on/find out. (Though, not sure if i can round out this topic in 1 post or not?) All i can do is try. i fear if i fragment this into a few posts…the flow/the point/s will be lost.

I have nothing against foxes…they are red, very cute, very clever and very smart!:) but, who wants to be eaten? Not me! not YOU?!:) Foxes cannot help being foxes. Foxes cannot help being hungry. Learning to feed foxes and not become fox food–a challenge, indeed.

“I am a fox,” the fox said.

“Come and play with me,” proposed the little prince. “I am so unhappy.”

“I cannot play with you,” the fox said. “I am not tamed.”

“Ah! Please excuse me,” said the little prince.

But, after some thought, he added:

“What does that mean–‘tame’?”

“You do not live here,” said the fox. “What is it that you are looking for?”

“I am looking for men,” said the little prince. “What does that mean–‘tame’?”

“Men,” said the fox. “They have guns, and they hunt. It is very disturbing. They also raise chickens. These are their only interests. Are you looking for chickens?”

“No,” said the little prince. “I am looking for friends. What does that mean–‘tame’?”

“It is an act too often neglected,” said the fox. It means to establish ties.”

“‘To establish ties’?”

“Just that,” said the fox. “To me, you are still nothing more than a little boy who is just like a hundred thousand other little boys. And I have no need of you. And you, on your part, have no need of me. To you, I am nothing more than a fox like a hundred thousand other foxes. But if you tame me, then we shall need each other. To me, you will be unique in all the world. To you, I shall be unique in all the world . . .”

“I am beginning to understand,” said the little prince. (excerpt Le Petit Prince-Antoine de Saint-Exupéry)

Think about it:

“The natural laws of the universe are so precise that we have no difficulty building a spaceship to fly to the moon and can time the flight with the precision of a fraction of a second. These laws must have been set by somebody.” ~stated by Rocket Expert Dr. Wernher von Braun.

“Orbiting Earth in the spaceship, I saw how beautiful our planet is. People, let us preserve and increase this beauty, not destroy it!” ~Yuri Gagarin, 1st Person/Cosmonaut to journey into Outer Space

“Scientists and others sometimes use the word ‘God’ to mean something so abstract and unengaged that He is hardly to be distinguished from the laws of nature,” commented Steven Weinberg, Nobel laureate for his work on fundamental forces. He added:  “It seems to me that if the word ‘God’ is to be of any use, it should be taken to mean an interested God, a creator and lawgiver who has established not only the laws of nature and the universe but also standards of good and evil, some personality that is concerned with our actions, something in short that is appropriate for us to worship. . . . This is the God that has mattered to men and women throughout history.”—Dreams of a Final Theory.

Buddhist scholar Dr. Walpola Rahula:

“A being is nothing but a combination of physical and mental forces or energies. What we call death is the total non-functioning of the physical body. Do all these forces and energies stop altogether with the non-functioning of the body? Buddhism says ‘No’ Will, volition, desire, thirst, to exist, to continue, to become more and more, is a tremendous force that moves whole lives, whole existences, that even moves the whole world. According to Buddhism, this force does not stop with the non-functioning of the body, which is death; but it continues manifesting itself in another form, producing re-existence which is called rebirth.”

Think about it:

“At the moment of conception, a person inherits 50 percent of his genes from each parent. Therefore there is no way by which he can be 100 percent like someone in a previous existence. Indeed, the process of rebirth cannot be supported by any known principle of science. Frequently, those who believe in the doctrine of rebirth cite as proof the experience of people who claim to recollect faces, events, and places that they have not formerly known. Is this logical? To say that a person who can recount things in bygone times must have lived in that era, one would also have to say that a person who can foretell the future–and there are many who claim to do so–must have lived in the future. That, obviously, is not the case.” ~excerpt Mankind’s Search for God

400 years before Buddha, the Bible spoke of a life-force “ru’ach” Hebrew meaning “an impersonal life-force that animates all living creatures, human and animal”…describing what happens at death: “Then the dust returns to the earth just as it happened to be and the spirit itself returns to the true God who gave it.” (Ecclesiastes 12:7) According to scholars, “returning to the true God who gave it means the person’s future life prospects–hope of a resurrection–are entirely in God’s hands.”

“God is no longer a habitual concern for human beings. Less and less do they call him to mind as they go through their days or make their decisions…God has been replaced by other values: income and productivity. He may once have been regarded as the source of meaning for all human activities, but today he has been relegated to the secret dungeons of history…God has disappeared from the consciousness of human beings.”~The Source of Modern Atheism.

Did i give you too much to think?! Can you see? See what i mean? Trouble connecting these odd dots, huh?

Let me try to help You: Accountability! one word answer.

Has “accountability” become a dirty word?! a “taboo” word…being accountable/responsible for our planet? being accountable/responsible for relationships?

Is there NO accountability/responsibility to life? Does anyone think or feel accountable to “any” authority whatsoever? or higher power… at all or anymore?

If we are only accountable to ourselves and our personal opinions/standards/desires or how something makes us (individually) feel, does that make us self-serving and/or selfish?! (Selfishness leads to a lot of hurtfulness.)

i feel a strong sense of accountability to You my Readers!:) Do you feel a sense of accountability to me…may be? probably not! That’s OKAY!…doesn’t change how i feel. :) …you don’t have to read my stuff.

See IF no one feels a sense of accountability, even a teeny-weeny bit…about anything or for anyone…then: where is compassion?? where is empathy?? where is helping?? where is sharing?? where is inconvenience??

where is peace?? where is love?? Sadly, it (living) just becomes a fox feeding frenzy:(

Well, without hope of any food or future life…get/take what you can/want…NOW…why wait?

One can choose “not to live” like that…one can choose to “die for You”…so, another can live! One can take an opportunity that helps somebody else out. Not all opportunities are self-serving. What opportunity will You take today? THANK YOU for choosing WELL (Compassion)!

Think about it:  Perhaps, that is the ultimate “trust” (or true friend) test: aka ultimate “compassion” (or true love) test: being someone’s messiah! Who doesn’t need a true friend? Who doesn’t need true love?…

Had a friend who really liked this quote: “Goodbye,” said the fox. “And now here is my secret, a very simple secret: It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye. You become responsible, forever, for what you have tamed. You are responsible for your rose . . .”

Surely as Caregiver, You have a rose you’re already responsible for?…does another rose not have thorns?!…all roses have thorns…watch out for, beware of roses without thorns! Do you appreciate the beauty of the rose?

Would You die for Your Rose?! What about learn a new language?…(i.e. compassion aka agape love) THINK ABOUT IT!
Check it out…COOL!:) Know any ASL?…trying to pick it up…

Prince’s lyrics:

I’m not a woman
I’m not a man
I am something that you’ll never understand

I’ll never beat u
I’ll never lie
And if you’re evil I’ll forgive u by and by

U – I would die 4 u, yeah
Darling if u want me 2
U – I would die 4 u

I’m not your lover
I’m not your friend
I am something that you’ll never comprehend

No need 2 worry
No need 2 cry
I’m your messiah and you’re the reason why

‘Cuz U – I would die 4 u, yeah
Darling if u want me 2
U – I would die 4 u
You’re just a sinner I am told
Be your fire when you’re cold
Make u happy when you’re sad
Make u good when u are bad

I’m not a human
I am a dove
I’m your conscious
I am love
All I really need is 2 know that
U believe

Yeah, I would die 4 u, yeah
Darling if u want me 2
U – I would die 4 u

Yeah, say one more time

U – I would die 4 u
Darling if u want me 2
U – I would die 4 u
2 3 4 U

I would die 4 u
I would die 4 u
U – I would die 4 u
U – I would die 4 u
