A positive body image goes beyond liking your looks. It encompasses taking good care of yourself and leading a fulfilling life. In this weekly series, I share some of my favorite posts from some of my favorite bloggers on this topic. Hope you find these links inspiring, too!

15 books to promote body positivity. Many of these are on my bookshelf, too, including Brene Brown’s The Gifts of Imperfection, Geneen Roth’s Women, Food and God and Linda Bacon’s Health at Every Size.

  1. Thanks for the shout-outs! And thanks also link to the bentlily poem — LOVE!

    • @ Anna, my pleasure! I LOVE your work. :) Samantha’s poems get me every time. There’s so much power packed into a few lines of poetry.

  2. Thank you for this update! I appreciated all of the links, especially the poem. As informative, inspirational and helpful as usual! My book, Finding Artemisia, also helps young women who are struggling with body image. Though it’s in the form of a fiction book it has some far reaching messages about accepting and loving yourself. Again, thanks for sharing!
