Every Monday features a tip, activity, inspiring quote or some other tidbit that helps boost your body image, whether directly or indirectly — and hopefully kick-starts your week on a positive note!

Got a tip for improving body image? Email me at mtartakovsky at gmail dot com, and I’ll be happy to feature it. I’d love to hear from you!

Recently I received a gorgeous package from Michelle McGrath, who has a beautiful website all about learning to love ourselves. In the package, she included a deck of inspiring self-love cards.

Today, I’d like to share a few of my favorite cards, which include both inspiring quotes and thought-provoking questions.

I thank my eyes for allowing me to see what I love and choose to love what I see.

Each moment is another opportunity to honor the miracle of my life. How can I do that right now?

I let go of all that no longer serves me. I can choose differently in each moment.

Self-love is a choice that I continue to make every day.

All of my relationships are a mirror. What are they showing me about myself?

Today I express my truth with love. Sometimes saying no to others is a yes to myself.

There is nothing to do and nothing to be except me.

There is nothing I need to improve or fix about me — just more to love. What can I celebrate about me right now?

Take some time to sit with these words and questions. Jot down your favorites. Respond to the questions. Think of your own quotes. Return to these words when you need them.

What quote resonates most with you? What can you celebrate about yourself right now?
