man hates realtiy tv

Last week’s cartoon,  asking  if you ever get annoyed with people,  is here.  All rights reserved, and content including cartoons is © Donna Barstow 2014,  My updated website is Donna Barstow Cartoons. And Like me  on Facebook to get notified of new cartoons here. Thanks!

I wrote today's cartoon with, well, me in mind. The poor teacher here questions his life work, and I question my life's worth, when I watch ridiculous reality TV. Season after season...what's the matter with me?!

The American Psychological Association's latest study says that  reality TV might not be "real", and skews watchers' perceptions of what life is really like. You mean Derek Hough, of Dancing With the Stars (most aren't stars), isn't really going to do the tango with me?

Oh, well, at least I'm not in the clutches of PBS -- then I'd really be in trouble.

Feel free to confess your favorite reality TV shows in the comments...if you dare.
