  • I have a friend with a phcological disorder (i think). I was hoping you may help me out. I tried researching on the internet and found nothing like this. He suffered through years of drug use. he has been drug free for a year now, but only because the problems started. he feels that he is a government tarket, being electronically harrased. he says that planes follow him everywhere all day and night causing him to loose sleep. he has witnessed them hovering above him at really low heights. he thinks that they are sending radiation to his brain. he says he shuts down and can’t explain it. its so real to him and he really does see these planes. i want to help him, and will not make a joke out of it. i was hoping that this is a normal disorder and was wondering if other people go through the same stituations.

  • Hi Dave,
It can be difficult to have a friend who is having problems functioning in this way. It definitely sounds as if this is causing him distress and due to his potential delusions, i would strongly recommend suggesting he go see a mental health professional. They will do a thorough assessment and provide him with the psychological support he likely needs.
