These quotes remind me of having a solid meditation practice. It has been a life changer from me as I moved from victim to survival and then to thriving. The thriving relates to being in touch with my deepest self, in the space between stimulus and response, nurturing the seeds of unlimited potentiality, co-creating our future.

A selection of quotes from my dragonfly quote-meister:
-----

I have not ceased being fearful but I have ceased to let fear control me. I have accepted fear as a part of life, specifically the fear of change, the fear of the unknown, and I have gone ahead despite the pounding in the heart that says, "Turn back, turn back; you'll die if you venture too far."

~Erica Jong
-----

Half an hour of meditation each day is essential, except when you are busy. Then a full hour is needed.

~Saint Francis de Sales
-----

Between stimulus and response, there is a space. In that space lies our freedom and power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and freedom.

~Victor Frankl
-----

Change is inevitable, positive growth is optional.

~unknown
-----

The future is not a result of choices among alternative paths offered by the present, but a place that is created–created first in the mind and will, created next in activity. The future is not some place we are going to, but one we are creating.

~John Schaar
