I'm not sure why, but mindful eating is something I find really hard. I have found mindfulness really helpful with many areas of my life which have been problems for many years (depression, anxiety and others), yet I still struggle with this.

I wonder if I am resisting it because somehow deep down I don't want to change how I eat - even though I know it's important that I do so. I have had an unhealthy relationship with food for most of my life, maybe I'm scared to let go of it. ...I don't know - I suppose I'm 'thinking out loud'!

This is my first time on the website and I feel a real connection, it has opened my mind to things i have never seen before in dealing with the same issues. Reading over the topics make me feel good. I have been looking for a website like this for a while, I guess things come to you when the time it is right. I feel like iam talking to a good friend. I hope that my comment makes since to someone. Thanks for being there, its hard when people just don't understand you.
