Poem: Silenced Love

By
~ Less than a min read

I love your lips

I love your eyes

I love everything about you

If only I could tell you

Why.

My heart was full

With just me

It pounded alone

Feeling at home

Until you walked in.

And I tried to pretend

That I can be strong

And remain on my own

All alone

But now it’s too late

My hearts starting to break

And the “I” becomes we

And the “me” becomes us

And over and over

I fall deeper

In trust.
