The Harlem Shake has become a global phenomenon and continues to grow.

Why are people dressing up in character and dancing the shake?  What does it say about escape, or expression, or letting it go, behind a mask?

I’ve tried to wrap my head around it, but it’s such a strange marvel, I have to put it out there, share it with you, and get your thoughts.  No one is calling them crazy, and the weirdness is accepted.
