After considering the slight possibility that my hair was disappearing, my quest began in earnest.
Dermatologist, OB/GYN, vitamins, volume producing hair products, colored sprinkles, men’s 5% minoxidil (screw the warnings — growing another ovary is worth it to me) and sprays — and in return I received an irritated scalp and some sympathy. Lots and lots of sympathy.

Love your blog Leslie!!! i’m 47 and BiP too! Wow…menopause and mania….the fastest hot flahes in the west!!! GRINS! If you haven’t been to the MD about the hair loss have your thyroid checked out…because of my lack of sleep due to mania and lack of thyroid regulation…my hair loss has increased within the last year…i’m taking Biotin supplements…which seems to help the nails too…
