We are continuing our conversation 5 Questions With Tracy Anglada and the Bipolar Bear with author, Tracy Anglada, who is a vocal advocate for Adolescent Bipolar Disorder. In our last post, we talked about the journey she has been on for the last 10 years. This journey began with her first book  Brandon and the Bipolar Bear. The book has been nominated as a finalist for the Reader’s Choice Awards at About.com in the category of Favorite Special-Needs Children’s Book. You can help her by voting for the book at  www.tinyurl.com/votebpbear (voting ends March 8th).

Adolescent Bipolar Disorder for  too many professionals was a gray area when it came to diagnosing children.  There have been proponents on both sides of the fence. But 10 years ago if you brought up the subject of Adolescent Bipolar Disorder with a psychologist, it may have been dismissed or ignored based on how the psychologist felt about the issue. So, we pick up with Tracy Anglada about the subject on how the book has been received.
