What Will Be Your Legacy, What Marque Will YOU Leave Behind?

In drawing today's Mental Health Humor cartoon, I have one movie to really thank, this movie is titled "Big Fish".

Big Fish is a 2003 American fantasy drama based on the 1998 novel of the same name by Daniel Wallace. The film was directed by Tim Burton and stars Ewan McGregor. Wikipedia

Watching this movie made me think of what type of legacy or Mark did my father leave behind (an eternal legacy)? The father-son role in some aspects mirrored some of situations that I had with my father.  At a young age, my father would tell me stories, wild stories that I believed. I remember seventh-grade how one of those stories came back to to smack me in the face like a big fish smacks its tail in your face.  Oddly enough, it is about what else: fish.  So let me tell you this fish tail. My father told me that once when he was a child on a dark stormy day on St. Petersburg Beach in Florida in 1940s...The clouds got so dark  a thunderstorm whipped up the sea (Gulf Coast of Mexico).  He was standing on the beach watching the storm and he could see the rain starting to come towards him but instead of raindrops, it started to rain fish, fish by the boatloads, not pin fish, not little bluegills, but large fish 12 inches long and bigger slapping the sand, jumping on the sand and still alive.  As a young child hearing the story over and over again how it rained fish, and later how my father and his family had a fish fry for two weeks, I guess in a way seemed to bring me closer to my father and some of his many stories. Yet that story would be challenged in a report that I did in seventh-grade on climate and how it rained fish in Florida in 1940s.

My teacher what was his name Mr.… his name is not important right now.  Yet how he embarrassed me in front of the whole class for the absurdity of the notion that it could actually rain fish.  Was my father lying to me?! Well, thanks to Google I was able to do some research.
Can it rain frogs, fish, and other objects?
There have been reports of raining frogs and fish dating back to ancient civilization. Of course, it doesn’t “rain” frogs or fish in the sense that it rains water - no one has ever seen frogs or fish vaporize into the air before a rainfall. However, strong winds, such as those in a tornado or hurricane, are powerful enough to lift animals, people, trees, and houses.  It is possible that they could suck up a school of fish or frogs and “rain” them elsewhere.  http://www.loc.gov/rr/scitech/mysteries/rainingfrogs.html

Okay, so it can rain fish in the sense that the fish are carried out through a waterspout (tornado over a body of water) like a straw or hurricane with a heavy up draft, then spits them out over the land.  Scientifically proving my father correct!  But the size of the fish and the timing of the 1940s I still have to account for in order to either say this was plausible or another big fish tale.

I found a story that could back up my father's story that the fish falling on the sky were large.  In Australia perch fell from the sky. Perch can be anywhere from 6 inches to 12 inches long.

Standard Operating Procedure SOP Of DEATH

"It’s HR New SOP for December..."
You don't really need to know what "HR" (Human Resources) or "SOP" (Standard Operating Procedure) means to get this joke.

Now that you do know what HR is, I'll tell you, it is funny just the thought there COULD even be a HR for Death. It's absurd!  If you have an HR where you work, I'm sure they would love getting a copy of this cartoon. Go ahead and send it to them...AT YOUR own discretion/risk.
