George Zimmerman Acquitted in Death of Trayvon Martin
George Zimmerman shot and killed Trayvon Martin in February 2012. Will George Zimmerman’s acquittal lead to more vigilante justice? Will we now have hooded gun toting crime watchmen running around looking for an easy kill? Is this going to open the door for people to channel Charles Bronson in a Hoodie ?
President Obama called on the nation to honor Trayvon Martin by asking “ourselves if we’re doing all we can to stem the tide of gun violence.“…
Where should we stand on guns for the diagnosed mentally ill? (note: George Zimmerman who shot and killed Trayvon Martin was never diagnosed with a mental illness.)
So, many questions – no real answers – and no Charles Bronson to sort them all out.
I’m sure there will be a number of Psych Central bloggers that may dig deeper into the verdict. If they do, i will list them below. But how about you, what do you think about George Zimmerman’s acquittal?
