Fun With Phobias

Ablutophobia is the fear of taking a shower/bath/washing. I think this phobia started right after the Movie Psycho came out. I know when I was a kid, I was scared to shower after I saw that movie. I’m sure my kids have ablutophobia, forget my kids, I would go as far to say all kids have this phobia! What is it with water and soap that made us kids hate to shower?

I was watching Leave It To Beaver on Netflex with the kids and even they did not like to take baths. I’m thinking this ablutophobia is something kids grow out of.  Just the other day my son took 2 showers the same day.

All kidding aside, this is a real phobia and if you suffer from it: I’m sure it really stinks!
