What is the most contagious thing you can catch that is good for your health?  Laughter!  We’ve all heard the expression that laughter is the best medicine.  That is being backed up by more and more research.  A few things that are coming to the forefront on the power of mirth is the type of humor that brings the most benefit.

Humor theories (yes, that is a real term) dictate that humor is multifaceted; humor and laughter are qualitatively different. Humor brings a cognitive response and laughter brings a physical response.  Both have the power to spread.

Think about it, when was the last time you heard a giggle or a laugh that did not pique your ear or start you laughing? Yes, laughter is an infection. Better call in Hazmat!
