  • My caseworker doesn’t think mental health humor is appropriate for our clients here at centennial mental health center in Colorado.I said she needs to lighten up.Is she right?

    • Has she seen the cartoons? Some times people get hung up on the term “mental health humor”… They judge it at face value and that it… Other time people do just need to “lighten up”. The motto here has always been to “use humor as a healthy coping skill”. Some people will never get it, that o.k. if they don’t… While other DO get it and understand and can relate with the toons… I wouldn’t push the issue.

The only thing you need to worry about John is if you enjoy the cartoons? If so, then nothing else matters…
