For one woman asking  in every fashion possible  did not get her husband to engage with the mundane chores of the household . So she stopped speacking and took action. She bought throw away dinner utensils and purchased ready made fast food like microwaved hot dogs . She left clothing piled up next to the washer.

 She did this consitantly , despite outcrys, till one day,  Finnally ;-)
