This blog will explore methods by which we can raise our levels of happiness, good health, and contentment. We all have our own definition of well-being, including happiness, good health, prosperity, close personal relationships, a sense of purpose, and more. Through the entries of the blog, we’ll discuss age-old and newly discovered ways to increase well-being, be they practical, seemingly trivial, humorous, or more energy- and time-intensive.

About Rachel Fintzy

Rachel Fintzy, M.A., MFT is a licensed psychotherapist in Santa Monica and Santa Clarita, California. Rachel counsels in the areas of emotional eating, compulsive behaviors, emotion regulation, stress management, mindfulness, self-compassion, and effective self-care. Trained in both clinical psychology and theater arts, Rachel works with people to uncover and develop their unique creative gifts and find personal fulfillment. Rachel also conducts clinical research studies at University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) on the interaction of psychological well-being, social support, traumatic injury, and substance use.
