Susan Cain: The power of introverts

- The author of “Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World That Can’t Stop Talking” gives a passionate talk about the value of introversion.

Western society promotes extroverts and outgoing entrepreneurs, but introverts offer much to give in different ways. Designing schools, workplaces and other institutions for extroverts is a bias, and hinders the talents of the rest of the world.

“There’s zero correlation between being the best talker and having the best ideas,” she says.

Features an interactive transcript, and subtitles in 30 languages.
