  • Is there any support like a website for musicans with mood disorders that would support and air their music?

They have this for visual art, I was just
    wondering?

    Thanks

  • @ Tara – Hmm…you know, that’s a good question. I’m not really sure. I did a quick Google and found out that there are several sites that list musicians who have mood disorders, but not any sites that actually help support, air, and bring attention to them. I did, however, find http://www.simsfoundation.org. According to the site, the SIMS Foundation aims to “provide low-cost counseling and other mental health services that would be tailored specifically to the needs of musicians and their families.” The site also plays the musicians songs on the front page, which is cool. However, this is all geared toward the Austin, TX area.

If you can’t find any sites that fit what you’re talking about (or apply to musicians in your area), have you thought about starting one yourself? That could be really exciting and could helps lots of musicians!
