Celebrity Psychings

Imagine waking up one morning, after spending more than $30,000 on 10 plastic surgery procedures (think new breasts, a brow lift, and tons of liposuction), to realize that, hey, maybe you didn’t want to do that, after all.

Apparently, that’s what’s happened to Heidi Montag.

If the title of this post sounds familiar to you, that’s because it is. Back in January 2010, Montag talked publicly about the multiple plastic surgery procedures she’s had, claiming she was “beyond obsessed.”

Yet, at some point after dumping more money into her body than some of us Average Joes and Janes would spend on a new car, the reality television star realized it wasn’t the best of ideas.

(This realization, however, probably is.)

Obviously I wish I didn’t do it. I would go back and not have any surgery. It doesn’t help. I got too caught up in Hollywood, being so into myself and my image. I don’t regret anything, but if I could go back, I wouldn’t do it. (Your Tango)

Sure, she and husband Spencer Pratt aren’t doing all that hot financially, but given that Heidi seems to understand, clearly, why her own decisions to have plastic surgery weren’t ideal decisions, and the fact that she had enough of a sense of humor for that self-deprecating PSA on financial reform, I think she’ll be alright.
