Celebrity Psychings

Disney star Demi Lovato has been released from rehab and, according to sources reporting to People, is doing just peachy.

The 18-year-old, who cut short her tour with the Jonas Brothers late last year and checked into a rehab facility for “emotional and physical issues,” was spotted in Santa Monica last Friday.

According to People‘s source, now that Lovato is finished with in-patient treatment, she will continue to see her doctors to work on her issues, and is relying on the support of her “inner circle” of “family and close friends” as she gets back to her regular routine.

Lovato is also thankful to her fans, crediting them as a source of support:

She is so grateful to all of her fans for their unbelievable support and looks forward to being able to talk to all of them very soon.

Her routine doesn’t seem to be too busy just yet. Despite earlier reports that Disney would begin shooting new Sonny With a Chance episodes last month, MTV reports the show will actually continue to focus on the show within the show (So Random!) for now.

Lovato’s post-treatment plan is still up in the air, but MTV News has learned that the Disney Channel will wait to begin working again with the star until her camp feels she is ready.

Taking it slow is probably the healthiest possible decision, and good for Lovato and Disney for recognizing that.
