I’ve never tried to hide my…dislike…for Alex Karev. Sure, he’ll probably pull one of his classic Alex-to-the-rescue moments on tonight’s monumental Grey’s Anatomy episode, but overall he’s mean, arrogant, and unworthy of my love.
However, Justin Chambers – the adorable actor who portrays my less than favorite Grey’s Anatomy character (oh, who am I kidding – at this point, nearly all of them with the exception of Owen and Cristina are my less than favorite characters) – is another story.
And now he’s even more adorable. During a Good Morning America interview earlier this week, Chambers spoke about what helped him work through the major sleep problems he started experiencing a few years ago.
Want to know his secret?
(As if this title didn’t give it away.)
Yoga. That’s right. Yoga.
Awe
It’s not that I don’t think Chambers should practice yoga (I think everyone who wants to should!); it’s just that I never would have expect yoga to be his answer!
When Robin Roberts commented on how involved Chambers becomes with his work and how that led to his insomnia, and then asked him how he’s doing now, Chamber’s responded:
“I’ll tell you what the best medication for that is, is yoga. It’s really helped a lot – it has. For me. I only go from my own, my own experience.”
Haha – way to get that “I’m not a doctor in real life” disclaimer in there, Chambers.
Roberts then asked Chambers how yoga has helped him, to which he responded:
“Relaxed me. It totally took me to another place and uh, I was kind of devout to it for a little while. I need to get back to it.”
