After several months of hinting at Major Owen Hunt’s Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (and at times, more than hinting at it), Grey’s Anatomy is going all out in tonight’s episode, “Elevator Love Letter.”

eonline.com currently has three sneak peeks available, and the first two are all about Seattle Grace’s Army-doc-turned-newest-Mc[whatever].

I don’t know which scene I liked the most – the conversation between Hunt and Derek Shepherd, or the intense “battle” between Hunt and Cristina Yang.

I do know one thing, though: If tonight’s episode is as good as the sneak peeks suggest, for me Owen Hunt’s PTSD storyline has definitely outshined Izzie Stevens’ stage four metastatic melanoma.

Be sure to watch tonight, but in the meantime you can check out PTSD Survivor Speaks Out: Grey’s Anatomy, Kevin McKidd, And Entertainment Media to read more about how McKidd prepared for the role of Owen Hunt and how one survivor feels about the portrayal of PTSD in entertainment media.
