I am patient of Bipolar Disorder. As in most cases, I visited doctor in 1997 and was diagonised for Major depression. I kept on taking medications for 6 years for Major Depression as I never went to Doctor in my Maniac Moods. In 2005, I was diagonised with Bipolar Disorder and was put on medication. I have been doing fairly well in all these years with small episodes of up and down. Recently, for last week I am at very high energy level. I read on this website that every patient of Bipolar Disorder can have major episodes in 5 years time. Now, I am getting afraid of this situation. I am more afraid now as my daughter is 9 years old and she has started asking questions about my medication.
